if I had a voice.

All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
James 3:7-8

  • I Should Be Sorry.

And it was not her fault, but mine. And it was her heart on the line. I really fucked it up this time. Didn’t I my dear?

I regret causing the pain. I don’t regret making this decision. I made the right choice.

  • This Might Actually Work.

It felt so normal, and so easy. I’ve known her forever, and she already really knows me. Maybe the half that wants to say yes is going to win over the half saying no. Tonight felt right, and simple, and she made me feel like my life could be bright again. I’m confused, but pleased. I guess we’ll see what happens. She makes me feel like I’m actually worth something.

  • A Flash in the Pan.

It sucks for her that he’s just a novelty. He’s bland, he’s “not sentimental” and he’s just something new. She only likes him because he’s interesting, he’s interested in her, and he’s not me. It’s not his fault that he doesn’t have the life in him that she wants. It’s not his fault that religious differences that she loves so much are only a product of his upbringing. It’ll break her heart when she figures it out and she’ll only blame herself. I wonder what she’ll say about me when it’s over for them.

  • Frickin’ Magnets

He and I are like negative poles of two magnets. We can be in the same place, but can never really stay close to each other. And she’s like another magnet, dropped in between. She’ll have to spin and a pull tight to one, simultaneously repelling herself from the other. Her positive side chose his negative side. Leaving us to repel each other. I told you so.
